Paragon Sports Constructors began work on three stadiums for Fort Worth Independent School District this week. Historic Farrington Field, Herman E. Clark Stadium and Scarborough-Handley Field will be renovated with new synthetic turf systems. In addition, Farrington Field will receive a new seven lane running track at Clark Stadium and be reconditioned.
“We are please to have the opportunity to continue our relationship with Fort Worth Independent School District and build on the prior construction services we provided for the district on 17 of their running tracks in 2008. We enjoy working with their personnel and look forward to upgrading their stadiums with a high-quality product like Desso synthetic turf,” Bret All, Executive VP of Sales & Marketing for Paragon Sports.
Paragon Sports will be installing the D-Vision synthetic turf system manufactured by Desso Sports Systems at all three stadiums.
“After looking at several different fields in the area the district agreed that the Desso synthetic turf products provided the best combination of turf quality, performance record, and warranty to back it up and Paragon Sports provides a single point of responsibility for the complete construction and installation of the three fields,” stated Bret Allen.
Desso is a proven leader in the research, manufacturing and installation of synthetic turf systems worldwide. As a FIFA preferred provider of synthetic turf systems, their products have been installed throughout Europe at top soccer clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Arsenal and at the 2010 World Cup stadiums in South Africa. Stateside installations include Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Wyoming. Their products can be seen on fields at Brewer High School Stadium, Crenshaw Stadium in Sheldon ISD, Hardin ISD and Frisco Memorial Stadium where the D-Vision turf is currently in play.
“Paragon Sports is honored to have been selected by the Fort Worth Independent School District for these very important projects. We look forward to installed world class fields that will be used for years to come by their students, coaches, and the community,” William Chaffe, President Paragon Sports.
