The newly renovated Clark Field at the University of Texas at Austin was dedicated in honor of the Caven family and renamed the Caven Lacrosse and Sports Center at Clark Field at a ceremony on Friday, November 18th.
“This was a long awaited and much anticipated project for the Caven family as well as the University. Paragon Sports was proud to be a part of it and help make their vision a
reality,” stated William Chaffe, President of Paragon Sports Constructors.
The Caven and Crum families, both of which were driving forces in the projects realization, as well as the University’s Men’s and Women’s lacrosse teams, members of
the UT marching band, Board of Regents and University President Bill Powers were all on hand for the dedication ceremony.
H. Scott Caven Jr, who was the driving force behind the project, was quoted in the official University press release, “This day is special for my family and me as we help
create a permanent home for men’s and women’s lacrosse. I am honored that through the generosity of many contributors, UT students will enjoy the wonderful experiences that many of us alumni had, participating in a variety of sports on this historic field in the heart of campus.”
