DALLAS, TX — The Cardinals of John Paul II High School in Dallas have been enjoying their new synthetic turf baseball and softball fields. The teams won dual district championships for the 2021 season and the softball team marched on to claim the TAPPS D1-2 state title.
Prior to the 2021 season, Paragon Sports Constructors was hired to renovate the existing turf baseball field, diagnose, and correct existing drainage issues, install a new Shaw Sports Turf playing surface and convert the grass softball field to synthetic turf.
JPII Chief Operating Officer, Bob Gharis, shared what was important to the school in hiring a partner for this project, “The reason we chose Paragon was because we felt they had the tools and the resources available to address our needs, especially with a drainage issue that was unknown at the time of the bid.”
Athletic Director, George Teague, on the process, “One of the great things about Paragon was the communication we had from start to finish, it was spot on.”
