It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of our own, Jose Hernandez.
Jose joined Paragon Sports Constructors in 2014 and lead one of our key turf installation teams as foreman. He took great pride in his work through technical detail and leadership in training young employees and teaching them the skills of our trade. If someone admires our work as a brand, they are likely admiring his craftmanship.
Over the course of his seven years with our company, Jose installed many dozens of fields across Texas. From Aldine to Childress, SMU Ford Stadium to the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers, he built the surfaces that play backdrop to Friday Night Lights, college football, and Major League Baseball.
Prior to his time with our company, Jose attended college in Mexico and brought many professional experiences to his work at PSC. His experience and intelligence provided great perspective on business and leadership and he executed everything he did with a great sense of pride and a trademark smile.
Jose was a devout member of his church and leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia, and four children, Ivan, Joselyn, Ramses, and Kendra. A memorial fund has been set-up via the GoFundMe link below to assist with funeral costs and support the family in this time of grief.
