Tyler, TX – Shaw Sports Turf has selected Paragon Sports Constructors to build two new synthetic turf practice fields for John Tyler High School and Robert E. Lee High School at Tyler ISD.
The projects have an aggressive 60 day construction schedule, including turf installation and track surfacing on the newly constructed D-areas at the end of each field. The new field at John Tyler High School is 100,382 square feet and the field at Robert E. Lee High School is 74,170 square feet.
“In 2010 we executed two turf conversions for Houston ISD in 45 days so we know that we are more than capable of converting the two Tyler high school fields in 60 days. While challenging, we have the manpower, equipment and expertise to meet strict project deadlines such as the one required by Shaw Sports Turf and Tyler ISD,” stated William Chaffe, President of Paragon Sports Constructors.
Tyler ISD installed Shaw Sports Turf at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium in 2012. Shaw Sports Turf PowerBlade HP 2.25 system will be installed on the two high school practice fields.
