ABOUT VERONICA
WHAT SPORTS or ACTIVITIES WERE YOU INVOLVED WITH GROWING UP? I was in Cross Country, Cheerleading, Basketball and Track. As it turned out the sports I hated the most carried over into my adult life. Running became an outlet and discipline for me, and I was able to complete multiple 5K and 10K races, but most notably the Brooklyn ½ and Chicago Marathon. I was able to compete with a lottery entry and completed a in a time of 4:08:42! Proud moment. 😉
WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE ATHLETE GROWING UP? Micheal Jordan & Sheryl Swoops
WHAT DRIVES YOU EACH DAY? Being able to be at a place where you can feel comfortable and be proud to your family. My family is my drive to keep pushing myself to grow as a person, to continue to inspire my boys and my immediate family to always believe in yourself.
