ABOUT PHILIP
Philip O’Neal joined Paragon in 2024 as the newest addition to our sales team after 38 years in education as a coach and athletic administrator. Philip started his career at Red Oak & Temple as an Assistant Basketball Coach, then accept his first Head Basketball Coach position at Weatherford. O’Neal then switched to the athletic administration side, serving at Weatherford ISD from 1999 to 2012 as Assistant Athletic Director, Athletic Director, and ultimately Executive Director of Athletics. His other Athletic Director stops include Fort Bend ISD and Mansfield ISD. Philip has served as the Athletic Director of 17 High Schools and 23 Middle Schools and supported 34 teams through State Tournament appearances, 9 of which won and 13 that finished as state runners up. Philip served as the Texas High School Athletic Directors Association President in 2023-2024, and was named the 2024 Texas HS Athletic Director of the Year.
O’Neal represents PSC in the Houston area.
