ABOUT GILLIAN

Gillian came to Paragon Sports Constructors after earning a dual-bachelor’s degree from Louisiana Tech University in Construction Engineering Technology and Business Management. Gillian served as an intern for PSC in 2021, gaining valuable, hands-on experience in the field. She assisted with all phases of civil construction including delivery coordination, crew communications and various other daily operations for turf and track installations. Gillian’s “can do” attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to make a career in sports construction was a natural fit to bring-on full-time. She is currently serving our civil crews mobilizing out of the Central Texas region, performing work in Austin-San Antonio-Houston metroplexes.

WHAT SPORTS WERE YOU INVOLVED WITH GROWING UP? In high school, I was a 4-year letterman in volleyball, and obtained 6A Bi-Districts Champions.  I finished my high school career ranked in the state for kills, blocks, and hitting percent.  During that time, I was Academic All-District, team captain, and MVP.  In the offseason, I was on the Golf team and won the title of 6A district Champion both times I went to playoffs. Outside of school athletics, I played beach volleyball. I went to Louisiana Tech University to continue my volleyball career.

FAVORITE SPORTS MEMORY? One of my favorite sports memories is when I was selected to participate in the Olympic training pipeline for Beach Volleyball out of Chula Vista, CA.  I was able to watch and meet almost all the Olympic Beach players.  They were really humble, giving, and encouraging.

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? I enjoy being able to see a project from start to finish and being a part of something bigger.  I also enjoy being outside and working alongside the crew. I like to be involved in every step as much as I possibly can.
