ABOUT LUIS
Luis joined the Paragon team in 2026 assisting the Pre-Construction team. Luis brings over ten years of experience in delivering heavy civil, municipal infrastructure, utility, roadway, drainage, and athletic facility construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. He has a proven ability to cradle projects from start to finish by leading estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, owner/engineer coordination, quality control, and project delivery. Luis has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Texas-Arlington.
WHAT SPORTS WERE YOU INVOLVED WITH GROWING UP? Growing up I was actively involved in cross country and track & field. As a cross country runner, I qualified for the Regional Championships in Lubbock during both my junior and senior years of high school. I also competed in the 1,500m and 3,200m track events and enjoyed playing table tennis in my free time.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? What I enjoy most about my job is bringing a project to life from concept to completion. I enjoy visualizing the entire project in my head, understanding all the components that contribute to a successful estimate, and then seeing that vision take shape during construction. Watching a project progress from its earliest stages to the finished product is incredibly rewarding. Knowing that the tracks and fields we build will serve athletes for years to come, helping them achieve personal records and create lasting memories with their families and communities, gives me a great sense of pride and purpose.
