Paragon Sports Constructors was selected by SpawGlass Construction to construct a new competition soccer field and two football practice fields for West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas.
Construction manager for the project, SpawGlass Construction of Houston, TX, selected Paragon Sports for this important project after working together on previous projects at Texas A&M University and The City of Brownsville Sports Complex.
“SpawGlass knew Paragon Sports was capable of providing the quality of work in the very short time frame allowed for this project,” said Bret Allen, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Paragon Sports, “They knew we would perform.”
Paragon Sports field crew began work on March 15th for the soccer and football practice fields, which are a part of a large intramural sports complex for the University. Excavation, stabilization, drainage, and grading are all set to be completed for project hand-off to AstroTurf installation crews by April 23, 2010. Sports crew will begin work on the competition soccer field, utilizing the same techniques in preparation for AstroTurf synthetic turf installation.
“Paragon [Sports] brings a team attitude to the project, from the office personnel to the guys in the field, everyone take a very proactive approach in accomplishing the ultimate goal, turning over a quality project to the owner on time,” David Ajlani, Project Manager, SpawGlass.
